How did you become a member?
I joined MariZen (I believe it was early in 2001) when Rick (from Sounddrifter) called me and told me he had a friend (Mari) who was looking for a drummer. Rick and I went to the same high-school and we knew each other through other bands we played in. I called Mari and she, Tim, and I met up at Bennigan's over a cup of soup and, well, here I am.

Musical influences: 
the Beatles, Frank Zappa, Mike Portnoy, Mike Mangini, Rod Morgenstein, Vinnie Colaiuta, and Dave Weckl.
